Portland State University is the site of Saturday Portland Farmers Market (held mid-March through mid-December). This is the largest farmers market I have ever been to, with a variety of delicious food concessions, quality Oregon produce and a lot more. With upwards of 190 vendors (at any given time)…it gets super crowded. I managed to shoot pictures while stepping on a few toes (oops, sorry!) as I made my way around – sampling everything from fresh fruits and fresh fruit sodas…to tamales, pies and cookies, etc. One serious buyer would be wise to park as close as possible, and make a few beelines from market to car (with an ice chest waiting).

Two pretty mamas, a pleasant surprise. I finally met my nephew’s wife…coincidentally in Portland with their new baby boy…and her friend. It was lovely.
